Catrin Darlington

Before joining Wrexham University, Catrin taught in several different schools across North Wales, ranging from Reception to Year 6. Catrin taught in Welsh Medium Primary Education and have a passion for the Welsh Language, she believes all children should be given to opportunity to a bilingual education.

During her time as a Primary School Teacher, Catrin was a mentor to trainee students and offered them support and guidance in the classroom. She was also a mentor for students with the Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol, giving them guidance on their next steps into a teaching career after completing their degree.

Catrin lives locally, in her spare time you'll usually find her in a coffee shop or walking with her husband and their cockapoo, Ani.
